Some important factors need to be considered in design.

1. Design of transmission control system

The movable skylight is actually a combination of the architectural lighting roof system design and the opening and closing mechanical system design. The skylight adopts the hidden frame curtain wall method and can slide as a whole, with a width of 2.1 meters and a length of 3.6 meters. Considering the short opening time, strong wind resistance, Automation and other performance, so a single group of sliding mechanism, drive mechanism, control system switch is used on the equipment. The motor provides power to the opening and closing of the sunroof through the transmission device, and can rotate in both directions, that is, the direction of the current is changed by the reversing switch to change the direction of rotation of the motor, and the gear transmission is used to receive the power of the motor, change the direction of rotation, and transmit the power to the slide. The lever makes the sunroof move forward and backward; at the same time, the power is transmitted to the cam, so that the cam touches the limit switch to open and close. The switch of the moving sunroof is composed of a control switch and a limit switch. By operating these switches, the motor of the sunroof drive mechanism can realize forward and reverse rotation, and work normally in different states. Off track during movement. The control system is a digital control circuit with timers, buzzers and relays, etc. Its function is to accept the information input by the switch, and perform logical operations through the digital circuit to determine the action of the relay to control the opening and closing of the sunroof, and the opening methods include: Both electric and manual are available to meet the opening needs in different situations.


2.  Selection of materials

According to the characteristics of the water source of the glass roof, the waterproof structure must be considered at the beginning of the design. The choice of materials is very important, and the gap is often the main channel of leakage. The selected sealant should not only be waterproof and sealed, but also consider various environmental factors. Influence on the aging of sealant, in order to ensure the quality of node waterproofing, the characteristics of various materials should be fully utilized. In the selection of materials, high-strength, high-elasticity, and high-extensibility materials should be used as much as possible. The geographical environment of the project is located in the middle of the sea. The concentration of chloride ions in seawater is high. The keel of the skylight and the transmission system have high requirements for corrosion resistance. Therefore, the power system of the aluminum alloy component system is selected. In this environment, the number of uses can be increased to ensure its Service life; all steel surfaces are treated with fluorocarbon spraying, and the stainless steel point accessories are made of 316 stainless steel. The track is made of aluminum alloy material, which is arranged on the left and right through the support of the T-shaped connecting steel parts, and the front and rear ends of the track are provided with limit devices.


3. Waterproof design

The waterproof design of the movable skylight is a waterproof system design. The waterproof system mainly includes drainage and waterproofing. Due to the conversion of the space angle, the rainwater load on the skylight is greatly increased, and the catchment area is larger than that of the vertical glass curtain wall. Therefore, an effective drainage design is carried out to avoid accumulation. Water is the key point. When designing, the skylight in the opening and closing position should be higher than the glass roof position, so that the rainwater on the movable skylight can be directly discharged to the glass roof, and then discharged from the roof in an organized manner. The seam of the skylight profile is sealed. , The traditional method of sealing with sealant cannot be used alone. Gluing and sealing is only an ideal design, and the actual effect often backfires, because it is difficult to treat the glued surface during the glue operation, and the glue amount cannot be effectively controlled. Once the amount of sealant is too large, the glass mosaic groove will be blocked, and there will be displacement due to thermal expansion and contraction. It is difficult to ensure the sealing reliability of silicone sealant 100%. In order to avoid water leakage at this joint, a flexible The EPDM water-covered rubber strip plugs the plug to block most of the water. After a small part of the water enters the inner cavity of the water-blocking aluminum plate, it is discharged down along the aluminum plate surface under the action of its own weight due to the loss of wind pressure, and is used for moving. The connection and transition between the skylight and the roof glass can prevent water leakage on the one hand, and ensure that the movement performance of the skylight is not affected on the other hand.
